Nicky Passed away on September 06, 2005 at the age of 29.
Surrounded by the family that loved him in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Nicky died of a rare disorder called an AVM  which is a malformation of the blood vessels and his was in his brain.
Nicky was born with this  condition and no-one knew.
He often suffered with headaches and even went to hospital with this complaint and was told to go home and rest and to take a painkiller for pain.
Please remember Nicky was a fit and healthy young man who had served in the British army.
Nicky leaves behind his wife and three children

His sisters and parents, grandparents his aunt and uncle's.
life will never be the same for any of us.
All we have left is memories of our darling Nicky which will be imprinted in our hearts and minds forever.

Little did we know that Saturday when you were taken ill on the moterway that this was to be your last journey on this earth.
you had become very ill with a severe headache and had bravely pulled your car over of the m25 a very busy moterway after just suffering a stroke you could not move the right side of your body,
you had been travelling with your brother in law in separate car's following one another.
you had i believe rang Ryan to say what is wrong with me i can not move !
Nicky how you never had a major road crash only god can answer that one
you had just suffered a stroke because your brain was been flooded with blood from a burst to an artery you never stood a chance.
Ryan bless him phoned for an ambulance he never really new how ill you were .
A little while before this happened you had both stopped to get a spot of lunch how could you be dying.
it must of been the sausage roll you had eaten yes you had also vommited
By now the ambulance crew were trying to save your life you had suffered a massive fit the first one in your short life.
This had resulted in you going into  a coma and never to come back .
At the watford Hospital they never knew you had suffered an avm as it was so rare.
This was found out at the hospital in queens square the most famouse hospital in london for Brain injuries with the best doctor's ,only your bleed to your brain was to severe.
We all waited with you for the next 3 days to see if a miracle could happen only to relise that the son we adored was brain dead.
Nicky this was and is the most dreadfull part of our life's your father's and i
I prayed you would just die because then we would not have to watch the machinerery being switched of you had already suffered a cardiac arrest
all your internal organs had packed up and your brain was gone .
our baby boy was about to leave us even now i can not believe you have gone i do not think we ever will.
i will take you back to the events of being told about this terrible event on this glorious saturday afternoon.
meanwhile i had been shopping for new curtains for the office we had just finished decorating the weather was glorious sunny and warm ,your dad had just finished cutting the grass and the garden looked lovely .
then it happened the phoned rang it was Ellie your wife the girl who you loved
the mother of your children, saying Angela Nicky has had a stroke .
At first i took the news so calmly thought you must of got it wrong?
how could my fit ex Army son possibly of had a stroke.
Nicky you used to walk for milesride your bike you were fit no fat cell's on you.
You were now in a class 7 coma  and was put on life support tubes going everywhere.Your dad and i rang your sister's all the family were in shock and we wanted to get to you straight away .
Throughout your life Nicky whenever you needed us we was always their
only this time we were more that 3 hours from you as we had
moved from epsom in surrey in the may of your Angel year date .
Whilst we were getting ready your dad said well this is where it all started
i said what do you mean- dad said when you were born you had been sent to great ormand street hospital and now you were going to the natinol hospital queens square london which was at the back of great ormand street.
you were saved at great ormand street only you were going back to die where it had all started at the beginning of your life.
Both of  these hospitals were no where near where we had ever lived.
We truly believe you were called back but why you did not deserve this
Nothing could be done to save you whilst you were in a coma you had to be resussed  and then they told us you were brain dead .
Nicky this hurt me the most as you would never be the same even if you had lived, why you life is so very unfair The funny thing is you never looked 29 years old you were like peter pan at times you looked younger than some of the teenager's we Know.
Your Sister's were a credit to you and they love and miss you so much
Nan and grandad and uncle michael also love you ,
Antie Maxine and uncle John love you so much .
Ellie and your daughters Jessie Jorga  and Jasmine
Sid and Wendy and all their family friends and every one
who knew you.
you were and are still loved every second of every day by lots of people .
We were proud to be your mum and dad their are lots of things we could say about you and boast however the main thing is love that is how we like to remember you and all our family.
To end this note about you the surgen said that you were born with this condition called for short an avm and you could of died from the time you were born ,However we all had 29 years of wonderfull memories and you achevied so much .
I am so glad that you chose us to be your parent's you will remain with us forever along with your sisters you are our life's .along with all our grandchildren.
God bless you Nicky untill we can all be close again.

19th September 2005

Nicky's  funeral service was held at St Peter & St Paul church  Chaldon.
when the coffin left the church a lovely white horse appeared with his mount and waited for the coffin to pass. what a lovely gesture from his rider.
Time of service 11am followed by burial at The sutton cemetery at 12.15pm.
A single white dove was released over the the interned coffin as a symbol of Nicky's spirit being released in to Heaven.
The weather on that day was sunny and warm, above the lowered  coffin was a large bumble bee that had appeared from nowhere happily buzzing around and then quickly flew off.

On leaving the cemetery in the hearse a butterfly had landed on the side window of the car, this small creature remained stuck to the glass whilst the vechile was still moving ,looking in at us untill we left the cemetery gates and then it flew away .
I often think was this Nicky saying hi i am still with you, i would like to think this was the case .
Untill we meet again you are forever in our hearts love from all your family and friends.
