Oh Nicky,

How you are missed, i never thought Birthdays were spent at home crying wishing so much for time to stand still.

I wonder what you would of been doing 3 years on .

My life has changed so much, before i was always doing something ,now the days roll by.

It is so hard just to get through the day .

I know other's want to see me happy but son that is hard.

unless you have lost a child you will never understand.

I look at your picture and start bawling, i still ask why?

I know i sound selfish but it is tough!

I honestly do not think i will ever get over your death or come to terms with it.

some people have faith etc..i have gone of all of that, then you get other's who think that time will heal, (really).

Have they lost a child do they know what it is really like...

You are as loved as always and just the same as your sister's, however i just can not hold you or give you a kiss like i used to.

I know that you would be shocked as too how i am now but you see son i never wanted you to leave,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Time stands still back to 2005 and that night in the hospital.

Nothing in life for me will ever be as bad as that memory.

even with modern health care you could not be saved.

I will never understand why why why.......

3rd Christmas in heaven  / Mum &. Dad



Nicky how we all  remember those happy days when we were a family of five.
We are still that family , only you are a long way from home.
no amount of driving or travelling will get me to you.
Or your dad and sister's.
I handled this christmas better than the last 2..
Lisa and Emma and the children and don all went to the cemetary to place small items for you , as we all know how you loved Christmas.
Their was a fog all around us and the grankids got spooked , but as i said uncle nicky will be here to watch over us and they all settled down.
Aunti Maxine had been up the day before and as usual she had dressed the Angels with tinsel and left a lovely teddy and angel for you along with flowers. they were so LOVELY.
sHE IS SO GOOD SHE NEVER FORGETS HER FAV NEPHEW.
Uncle Michael left you a card  This i know was hard for him.
I know all these things mean a lot to you in heaven.
The pain of not having you with us never leaves.
Your Children asked if they could visit you just before Christmas .
I will take them Nicky when the weather improves.
They love and will  never forget their daddy.
Nan is continuing with her treatment  she is so brave...
Aunti maxine doese so much to help her.
Every one misses you .
Nicky if only i could pretend you were here for the new year.
once again you will be toasted and your memory kept alive.

My Boy. 2nd Anniversary in Heaven.  / Mum
How do you ever forget your son. YOU DO NOT. 2 years on and life goes on.
To others it is just an anniversary you just take a day out and remember.
To me it feels like hours ago that you were here Nicky.  i so wish you were here that pain never goes.
Yes i cope well i just hide the hidden sadness that never goes away
yes i laugh make jokes go out do a few more things than when you first left for Heaven.
Nothing will ever be the same one has to look positive or you would end up in the funny farm.
No one really understands this . unless you have been given the same path that i have had to walk. yes you here them i can only imagine. that is not the same you see you will never have that pain that feeling of loss, The why's  i could go on... 
Oh yes Nicky is in a better place but how do we know!!!.
I am selfish, i just want my son back. 
you see..........2 years ago i had a son, now i have an Angel.

Tonight at 1am you left this earth to fly to Heaven.
You did not leave so easily .
I know you would never of wanted to go, your heart was so strong but the rest of you had died.
2 Horrid years later and that picture of the intensive care ward never leaves me.
Tonight i will leave a light on for you. i do this every year on your Anniversary.
2 years on and nothing is any easier. you see we love you and want you home.
Every one does. Your daughters are growing but they have no daddy to share all the things they need to chat about Ellie loves and misses you Nothing will ever be the same.
Your Dad loves you so much and your sisters we all do .
